We have been ranked in the Top ten in the Complete University Guide 2013
Our high student satisfaction levels and excellent graduate employment prospects have been highlighted as key strengths in the 2013 Complete University Guide. The Guide’s new league table ranks us tenth out of 116 universities across the UK.

Biotechnology expert boosts Bath’s biofuel research
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Professor David Leak, an expert in biotechnology, who will be researching into creating biofuels and chemicals from purpose-grown crops, plant waste from food production, and municipal solid waste.

Video: How to treat waste water using algae
In the latest research film by our Video & Multi-media officer George Chan, this video documents environmental innovation company Aragreen who has partnered up with Professor Rod Scott to set up a pilot plant that uses algae to clean waste water which is cheaper and 'greener' than conventional methods.

Disruption to Internet access 7-9am 1 May & 10 May
On Tuesday 1 May and Thursday 10 May, between 7am and 9am, computing services will be changing the way the University of Bath connects to the Internet. During this time access to the Internet and other UK Universities will be interrupted for the whole of campus including Carpenter House and the Innovation Centre.

The Russians are coming
Members of the Russian Federation’s athletics team will finalise their preparations for the London 2012 Olympic Games at the University of Bath. A 30-strong contingent of Russia’s top track and field athletes will train at the University in the build-up to the Games from 20 July to 1 August.
