New device could cut chemotherapy deaths
A new method of delivering chemotherapy to cancer patients without incurring side effects such as hair loss and vomiting is being developed

Top speakers to tackle the nuclear debate
Geoff Hammond, Director of the International Centre for the Environment (ICE), will be putting the case against nuclear power in opposition to the high-profile supporter of nuclear energy, Sir Bernard Ingham, who was Margaret Thatcher's former press secretary, in a debate on the future of nuclear power in the UK. Student wins prestigious engineering award
Andrew Bryant, a Mechanical Engineering student currently on work placement with OCRobotics, has won a prestigious Engineering Leadership Award from the Royal Academy of Engineering worth up to £7,500.

Rail tickets
STA Travel has sourced a new system for issuing a complete range of rail tickets which is due to go live on Monday 24 April 2006.
The new supplier is imposing extra charges for the use of their systems and it will become necessary to charge £1.00 per ticket issued.

of humorous and moving drawings exploring issues around mental health. This exhibition

Netball
The Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games ended on a high note for TeamBath netballers Pamela Cookey, Rachel Dunn and Geva Mentor who won bronze medals for Team England.

It was another successful year at the 2006 Judo BUSA Championships as the University judo programme took home a total of 35 medals.
