TRAINING AND EDUCATION
The Centre hosts short term visiting researchers undertaking research projects associated with other institutions. In addition the Centre offers a resource for preclinical validation of devices for the Orthopaedic and Medical Device Industry.
The
Centre makes a contribution to continuing education and training by
hosting specialist courses and workshops. Members of the Centre also
contribute to other national and international training courses. The
Centre hosts an annual one day Biomechanics
Symposium which focuses on one of the main research themes associated
with the Centre.
A Summer School is organised by the Centre aimed at Orthopaedic Trainees
on Hip and Knee Biomechanics, attracting an International Faculty.
