Faculty Date Session time
Faculty of Science 23 & 24 September 10am - 1pm

  • 25 - 27 September between 11am and 2pm on the 3rd floor of the Library.

You will be unable to enrol fully until you have completed your document check.

Documents to bring with you:

In order to comply with UKBA regulations we must check and take copies of your passport and visa. You must provide your original degree and proof of English language certificates even if you have already provided us with copies of these.

  • All original qualification documents as listed on Application Tracker/your CAS statement.
  • Your original passport. Your original visa - this can either be a vignette (sticker) in your passport or a BRP (ID) card.

Students who have an application for a visa with the UK Border Agency

If your passport, visa and qualifications documents are with the UKBA because you have sent an application for a visa for Bath you will need to bring evidence of this to the document checking session. Examples of evidence:

  • a letter of receipt from the UKBA confirming that they have received your application
  • a letter from the UKBA asking you to make an appointment to give your biometric data
  • confirmation from the International Student Advisers that they have checked your visa application and helped you to send it.

Please note: you cannot enrol on your course unless you have a visa for the University of Bath.

If you have a visa for another institution you will need to submit your application to the UKBA for a visa for the University of Bath before you are able to enrol.

Please make sure that you bring all originals with you. We advise overseas students to carry their documents in their hand luggage whilst travelling here.
