Biography
Fei Yu is from mainland China. He obtained his B.Eng at Beijing Institute of Technology in 2008. Upon completion of his undergraduate course, he remained at Beijing Institute of Technology to study for his Master's degree in Physics and Electronics under the supervision of Prof. Shufen Chen.
From October 2010, he started his PhD in Optics with sponsorship from the Chinese Scholarship Council. His supervisor is Prof. Jonathan Knight. His research starts from fabricating his first Photonic Crystal Fibre.
