Biography

Gareth completed a 4 year MPhys degree at the University of Bath in 2009, with a 6 month research placement at Oxford Biosensors. Undergraduate modules studied stimulated his interest in nonlinear photonics.

He started his PhD in the autumn of 2009 under the supervision of Dr. William Wadsworth, studying linear and nonlinear photonics in silicon-on-insulator waveguide arrays.
