Biography
Peter Mosley is a lecturer in the Department of Physics. He was awarded a D.Phil. by the University of Oxford in 2007 for generating single photons in exceptionally pure quantum states using parametric downconversion.
During 2008-9 he undertook post-doctoral research, also on single-photon production, at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen, Germany.
In 2009 he moved to the University of Bath as a Research Officer to work for William Wadsworth on four-wave mixing and supercontinuum generation in PCF and tapered fibres. After a short spell as a Teaching Fellow, Pete was appointed to a lectureship in 2012.
