Steve Renshaw

Biography

Steven Renshaw obtained his Bsc degree in Physics from the University of Aberdeen in 1990 and went on to further study at Cranfield University to obtain an MSc in Energy Conservation and the Environment. He has worked in the energy and environmental field at Bristol Energy Centre and undertaken research at the University of the West of England and the University of Bath. After having spent nearly 5 years as a software engineer with Renishaw plc he joined the group in 2006.

As a CPPM Technician he is responsible for the daily running of the CPPM's fibre fabrication facility, giving supervision and assistance to university students and staff wishing to use the equipment, and helping with the design, manufacture and development of new products, procedures and processes.

Hobbies include cycling, walking, travelling, building gadgets and learning the guitar.
