Biography
Wendy Lambson has worked in the Department of Physics as a sample preparation technician for 32 years, and is currently working with the Centre for Photonics and Photonic Materials on fibre and glass sample preparation.
Work includes etching of solid band gap fibres for SEM characterisation of physical dimensions, and cutting and polishing of different passive optical devices for the study of possible improvements in the fabrication techniques.
Hobbies include bird watching, natural history photography, and walking.
