Biography
Yong Chen completed his Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics at Hunan University, China in 2006. He remained there to work on a Master-PhD Programme in Information and Communication Engineering. In October 2009 he started his PhD in the CPPM on the post-processing of photonic crystal fibres. His supervisor is Prof Tim Birks.
