Jollbot on The West Tonight - ITV

‘Jollbot’, the first jumping and rolling robot, has been created by Rhodri Armour, a PhD student from the Centre for Biomimetics & Natural Technologies within the University's Department of Mechanical Engineering. Rhodri appeared on ITV West Tonight on Thursday 4 December to explain how Jollbot, which can jump over obstacles and roll over smoother terrain, could be used for space exploration or land survey work in the future.
