Our Foreign Languages Centre specialises in the delivery of language courses that can be taken as a one-semester unit, or continued over several semesters.
Students will benefit from excellent standards of teaching and our strong focus on practical language skills.
We provide classes for members of the community and University staff during the day and in the evening. Both take place at the University and in Bath city centre.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students may take a language course alongside their studies and, depending on their programme of study, as part of their degree.

Our staff
Our language teachers are all native speakers who qualified to teach in the UK or in their country of origin. They have extensive teaching experience gained either at the University of Bath or in other institutions.
