Profile
Dr Alexander Cattell joinded the Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies in September 2012.
He received his PhD from the University of Exeter in 2011.
Before coming to Bath, he taught at the University of Exeter and the University of Hull.
Research interests
Dr Alexander Cattell's research interests lie in the social and cultural history of twentieth-centrury Spain, and particularly the Franco dictatorship.
He is currently preparing a monograph based on his doctoral thesis, 'The Social and Cultural Transformation of Madrid during the Late Franco Dictatorship (1959-1975'.
