Profile
Dr Annette Blühdorn has been a member of the Department since 1996. Prior to this, she held teaching positions at De Montfort University Leicester and the University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol.
She did her degree (First State Examination) in Classics, German and Education at the University of Erlangen/Nürnberg in Germany, followed by two years of professional teacher training (Second State Examination). In 2001 she obtained her PhD from the University of Wales, Swansea.
She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and also registered with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). She is External Examiner for German Language Programmes at Keele University.
