Profile
Dr Caterina Sinibaldi joined the Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies as a Teaching Fellow in 2012, after completing a PhD in Italian Studies at the University of Warwick. She is also an Early Research Fellow at the Warwick Institute of Advanced Study.
Her doctoral thesis looked at the phenomenon of children's literature translated during Italian Fascism.
She has published on the translation of American cartoons under Fascism, the Fascist rewritings of Collodi's Pinocchio, and the translations of Alice in Wonderland which appeared during the Fascist rule.
