Ms Claudine Touze, Teaching Fellow in French originally joined us as Lector in French in 1996. She studied foreign languages and took her licence in 1993 and a master's degree in Teaching French as a foreign language at La Sorbonne- Paris, France in 1994. Before coming to Bath, she taught at the University of Austin Texas.
At Bath she has re-designed the first and second year ‘French and Written Language” and has a keen interest in French Grammar.
She is currently convenor for the French language units in the first and second years. Other duties include coordinating and training new members of staff including French lectors through DOPLA training.
Ms Touzé is an experienced teacher of French and Spanish as a foreign language. She has also been a Resident Tutor on campus for 5 years
