University Open Days

If you are considering applying to study here then we encourage you to come along to our undergraduate open day to find out more.

The timetable of events, as well as accommodation viewing and central talk times, can be found on the University Open Day page.

You can also get information about how to get here and staying overnight.

Course talks

We will be holding a number of subject-specific talks throughout the day - you will need to book to attend these.

  • BA (Hons) Modern Languages & European Studies
  • BA (Hons) Language and Politics
  • BSc (Hons) Politics with Economics/International Relations
  • BSc (Hons) International Management and Modern Languages

The talks may include presentations by the Admissions Tutor, Placement Officer, department support staff and final year students.

Can't attend the talk?

If the talk is fully booked then email the Open Day team (opendays@bath.ac.uk) as we will try to help fit you in.

If you are unable to attend a talk there are plenty of things for you to do on the Open Day, including the language drop-in sessions, so it’s still worth attending.

What do the talks cover?
  • Introduction to the department and the subject area
  • Information on the course content
  • The type of work set throughout the course
  • Placements and study abroad
  • Admissions information

Drop-in with academic language staff

From 12 - 2pm we will be holding scheduled drop-in question and answer sessions with academics from our language courses. Please check the timetable for your language.
