Mail Services

Student parcels

Mail items too big for your mailbox or that need a signature can be collected from the Parcel Room at Eastwood Lodge. We make every effort to have your items processed for collection the day they arrive but this may not always be possible.

Parcels will only be accepted from couriers for recipients living on campus up to 28 days after the end of the academic year. After this point parcels will be refused. Please ensure you update your address details to avoid an unnecessary inconvenience.

Collecting your item if you live on campus

We will send you an email to notify you when an item is ready for collection. You should not come to collect your mail until you have received an email - even if the supplier has advised you that it has arrived at the University. It will be processed by the Student Parcel Office staff as soon as possible.

When you come to collect your item please bring the parcel notification email - either printed, or displayed on your phone or tablet and a photographic ID (your University Library Card is the preferred form of ID).

Items will be held for a period of 28 days after which items will be returned to sender or disposed of.

You can request that we hold your item for longer by emailing us at

Collecting your item if you live in the city centre
