The University is saddened to announce the death of Lorraine Linney

17 July 2012

Lorraine Linney, a fourth year undergraduate BSc (hons) Psychology student, passed away peacefully on Sunday 8 July 2012, with her family by her side.

Lorraine was a dearly loved mother to Catherine and Alison and wife of John.

The funeral service will take place at All Saints Church, Publow, Publow Lane, Pensford, Bristol BS39 4HP on Wednesday July 25th at 11:30 am, followed by burial.

All are welcome after the service to The Carpenters Arms, Stanton Wick, Nr. Pensford, Somerset BS39 4BX.

Family flowers only but donations, if desired, in lieu of flowers can be made to AYME (Association of Young People with ME) or Bath Cats and Dogs Home and may be sent to Michael Rowe Funeral Directors, Tunbridge Cottage, Tunbridge Rd, Chew Magna BS40 8SP (01275 332565)

Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

We know that her death will have affected colleagues and friends on campus and are offering a range of support to students and staff who need our help.
