Bath OCD expert takes part in Channel 4 programme

24th July tackling and exploring Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
‘Jon Richardson: A Little Bit OCD’ is one of a series of programmes on Channel 4 given prime-time programming which aims to challenge the stigma around mental health and discrimination.
Regarded as a world leading expert in anxiety disorders, and more specifically in panic and agoraphobia, OCD, health anxiety and specific phobias, Professor Paul Salkovskis gives his insights into the disorder with Jon in a revealing one to one session at the end of the programme.
In the programme the comedian explores a subject which is the focus of his own stand-up shows and his book, ‘It Not Me, It’s You’ where he delves into the world of OCD. He meets people across the OCD spectrum to discover whether he has OCD or is in fact a demanding perfectionist. As well as a range of sufferers, Jon talks to his friends, former flat-mates, his mother and staff who treat in-patients with the most extreme form of OCD together with experts in the field.
