Second cohort of trainees join Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme

Our second year students will be helping new students settle in to the programme.
We are very pleased to welcome our second cohort of student trainees who have joined us on our three year Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme.
Fourteen students have embarked on the programme, for which we received over 560 applications again this year. The majority of our cohort this year had also received offers from other leading academic institutions, such as Oxford University and the Institute of Psychiatry, however they have chosen to study with the Department of Psychology at the University of Bath.
Professor Bas Verplanken, Head of Department, has personally welcomed them to the Department, and noted that as the second cohort on the programme they are experiencing the advantage of the 'buddy' system with the Year 2 group.
