Doctorate in Clinical Psychology second most popular in the UK

The new students on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme.
The Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme has this year received 535 applications – making it the second most popular in the country in terms of the number of applications per-place.
The three year programme consists of training in clinical and professional skills.
The programme has recruited students since 2011, and the first cohort of students are expected to graduate in 2014.
Prof Paul Salkovskis (Programme Director) commented: " We are very pleased with our applicant numbers again this year. Our detailed admissions and programme information enable potential trainees to make the best choice for themselves. I think it reflects our commitment to best practice in clinical psychology training”.
