We are thrilled to announce the winners of the ever-popular 2015 scholarships scheme, with Psychology student Niall McLoughlin winning one of the PhD scholarship prizes of £500.

Nialls’s entry was just one of a staggering 5,000 applications for the postgraduate scholarship scheme, competing with prospective postgraduate students for one of six scholarships worth a total of £12,000.

Environment, Energy and Resilience student Niall said "It’s great to be a FindAPhD scholarship winner! Thank you."

Andy Pritchard, Managing Director of Find A University Ltd., said "Our & Postgraduate Scholarship scheme underlines our continuous commitment to support postgraduate students in all aspects of their academic life, from finding their degree programme to helping them fund their studies. The standard of applications this year was exceptional, with creative and inventive entries ranging from giant puzzles, beautiful artwork, hand-made items of clothing and original songs."

"Niall produced an interactive video, which showcased his research aims and objectives, and clearly conveys his passion for his research area. We were thrilled to award one of our scholarships to such a passionate student, and we’re delighted that we can help support Niall with his PhD studies."

The & Postgraduate Scholarships will return in 2016, with another £12,000 of funding to be awarded.
