About the study
There is a known connection between anxiety and impulsivity and substance abuse and this project aims to further investigate this connection. This research will hopefully help to further investigate the causes of certain disorders, such as substance use, and the results will prove useful in developing new treatments and interventions for preventing mental illness in the future.
What does taking part involve?
Taking part involves completing an online survey which takes about 20 minutes.

The research is conducted at the Department of Psychology in the University of Bath, UK. The study has received ethical approval from the Departmental Ethical Committee (reference number 12-035).
