A focus group looking at the impact of self-harm upon friendship
This study aims to considering the impact of self-harm upon a friendship, and how people make sense of this.
What does taking part involve?
The study will require you to watch a video of people talking about their experiences with self-harm and self-harmers and discuss a few issues that arise in a focus group.
Where will the research take place and how long will it last?
The focus group will take place on campus and will last for approximately one hour to an hour and a half (biscuits will be provided).

I am seeking to recruit anybody who is interested in taking part!
Is it confidential?
Yes. Any information you provide will be kept confidential and any identifying information will be anonymised. The study has received full ethical approval from the University of Bath Psychology Ethics Committee (Ref: 13-017)
