CPD Short Courses for Industry

The Centre runs short courses for Continued Professional Development (CPD) in the area of power transmission and motion control with particular focus on fluid power systems, electrical drives, and control. All courses are presented at Bath by experienced staff and research workers. Besides our standard courses, which are offered in partnership with the IMechE, we run a series of more focused courses on specialised topics, as well as bespoke courses at customers' premises.

Participants will gain a profound theoretical understanding of the material, which is strengthened by a wide range of experimental laboratory sessions, tutorials, design exercises, and computer simulation classes. On completion, participants will be presented with a certificate of attendance.
