PC Bathfp Product Information
PC bathfp is an interactive time-domain simulation tool. During the simulation process, PC bathfp allows the user to concentrate entirely on physical aspects of the simulated system. The software originated in the fluid power field where discontinuous, stiff systems are encountered. In order to process such complex systems with the minimum of user interaction, a sophisticated computational engine, the integrator, has been employed. The PC bathfp integrator is well suited to handling such systems and, in the process, optimises accuracy and processor time.
Building a system is intuitive via a graphical interface using component icons typical of fluid power systems. A wide range of components is supplied and the mathematical model, representing each component, is automatically selected. The virtual simulation executable, which represents the system under investigation, is generated automatically and runs in a separate thread spawned from the main process. Once any parameters have been adjusted the simulation can be run and results plotted to enable comparson with measured data. PC bathfp is a native Microsoft Windows program.
