Knowledge Transfer Partnerships for business

Knowledge Transer Partnerships (KTPs) are the Government's leading knowledge and technology transfer scheme, helping businesses to improve their competitiveness and productivity by giving them access to the expertise, knowledge, technology and skills available in universities.  This expertise is used to support projects strategically important to UK businesses and public sector organisations in areas such as new products or services, new manufacturing processes, developing business strategies and improving business processes.

The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships office has been developing and managing Knowledge Transfer Partnerships for 30 years and has managed over 200 programmes.  Lasting between one and three years, and with a Government subsidy of up to 60 % available.  We can help you organisation:

Although business performance outputs vary considerably from case to case, given the variety of the projects, latest information shows that, on average, businesses  benefit with an increase of over £220,000 in annual profits before tax, the creation of three new jobs and an increase in skills of existing staff.
