Alison Evans is part of the Research Development and Collaborations (RD&C) team in the Research Development & Support Office. Her work includes identifying opportunities and developing high value research proposals in the area of Life Sciences and Healthy Living. She also works with academic staff to build upon and developing existing successes through further research and knowledge transfer projects. She supports large scale projects and offers professional project management support to academic staff.
Alison is also a Project Manager on the EPSRC funded knowledge transfer consortium, KT Equal, a four year collaborative research programme involving 8 institutions, with Bath taking the lead responsibility for running the programme of work in developing Communities of Interest around key topics of the ageing and wellbeing agenda. Alison will oversee the coordination of the programme to maximise capacity and impact. The overall goal of the KT EQUAL consortium is to enhance the quality of life and well being of older and disabled people.
During her time at Bath, Alison has developed substantial knowledge of Life Sciences research across the University and has a well established network of external and internal contacts.
