Marie acts as the interface between the academic base and companies by recruiting recent graduates (called Associates) to manage and deliver Knowledge Transfer Programmes.
Marie’s main responsibilities involve:-
- Providing support and advice to companies and academics on all aspects of the recruitment and selection process in accordance with the University’s procedures
- Preparing job descriptions and advertisements to recruit Associates
- Managing all aspects of the recruitment and selection process to ensure deadlines are met and maintaining liaison with the Associates to foster retention
Marie deals with the following academic departments:-
- Architecture and Civil Engineering
- Biology and Biochemistry
- Chemistry
- Electronic and Electrical Engineering
- Faculty of Engineering and Design
- School for Health
- School of Management
- Mathematical Sciences
- Mechanical Engineering
- Pharmacy and Pharmacology
- Social and Policy Sciences
Marie also acts as the interface/has specific interests/responsibilities for:-
Providing academic support for programmes in the School of Management and the Department of Social and Policy Sciences
Biography:
Marie’s background is in Social Science and Management. Having graduated from Bath with a degree in Sociology with Industrial Relations, she is currently writing up a PhD in Management (Strategic Human Resource Management). After graduation Marie became a Bath KTP Associate and between then and taking up her current position she was a Research Associate at Bristol Business School at the University of the West of England.
