Knowledge Transfer Partnerships graduate case studies
Anna Dixon: Assay Development Scientist
Anna has a PhD in Clinical Genetics and is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) postgraduate at Atlas Genetics, a healthcare company focused on providing rapid point of care diagnositics. Anna applied for the position because the role was excellent and gave additional personal development benefits which are not easy to come by in science. Anna believes that she has benefited from being a KTP postgraduate because the project has given her management training; experience in commercial development and exposure to senior management knowledge and experience.
Danni Chen: Business Strategy Developer
Danni has a BSc in Business Administration and MSc in Marketing. Danni applied for the KTP position of Business Strategy Developer at Solicitors Own Software because she wanted the opportunity to work closely with senior management, with ownership of a project, taking on real management responsibilities. Sam Perry: Structural Engineer
Sam has a BEng in Civil Engineering. Sam saw the position of KTP graduate with Oakwrights as an opportunity to contribute to the increase in timber structures in the UK. The KTP project allows him to have ownership of a specific project and to manage and deliver strategically important outputs. Sam confirmed that the KTP ethos, training and development combined with the commitment from the company for the project provided him with the right opportunity for his career.
