Post Doc KTP Opportunities
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) enable PhDs, who have completed a collaborative research grant or CASE studentship, to apply their research in a commercial environment, managing challenging projects central to the development needs of participating companies.
A KTP can provide you with:
- An opportunity to develop the commercial potential of your research
- A vehicle to move your career into industry/business
- A chance to gain a recognised management qualification
- Continued training and development in your chosen area of expertise
A project lasts for a period of between 12 and 24 months, with approximately 70% of Associates offered employment by the host business on completion of the project.
Participating industrial partners will receive a grant of 67% as an SME, or 50% if a large organisation, of the total cost of the project.
