University’s REF Code of Practice published
Following approval by the Vice-Chancellor at University Executive on 11 July, the University’s Code of Practice for REF 2014 has now been submitted to HEFCE.
The Code sets out the process by which the University of Bath will select staff for inclusion in its REF2014 submission and has been drafted in line with the REF and Equality Challenge Unit guidelines.
The Code can be viewed on the University’s REF internal webpage.
Importantly the Code includes details of how staff can register circumstances which have significantly constrained their ability to produce four outputs or to work productively throughout the assessment period. We will be contacting all REF eligible staff to inform them of the arrangements for submitting this information very shortly.
