WIRC Open Discussion Day

Wednesday 25th January 2017, 13:15-16.05

WIRC Research Themes

Room 1.1, East Building, University of Bath (Location and maps)

The Water Innovation and Research Centre (WIRC) would like to invite you to join us at the Open Discussion Day.

WIRC was established in October 2014 as a multi-disciplinary water research centre, overarching the whole Bath campus, with contributions from researchers from all faculties and departments and school, as well as the Institute for Mathematical Innovation(IMI) and the Institute for Policy Research (IPR).

We will present our eight research themes (see picture to the right) on the day. WIRC’s director, Prof Jan Hofman, will also give a short introduction on the way WIRC is organised, how we work and what our future the ambitions are. Furthermore, the WIRC Research Theme Leaders will give a short pitch on individual research themes.

After the presentations there will be an open research fair in East Building foyer, where we will showcase our research themes. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to meet with the Theme Leaders to discuss research ideas and collaborations opportunities on water research.

Please join us to explore water research at WIRC. Lunch and nibbles will be served on arrival.
