Library Research Data Service

  • We run regular research data management (RDM) training courses for research staff and postgraduate students as part of the staff development and PGSkills schemes respectively
  • We provide a data management plan review service for grant applicants
  • We provide an advisory service to staff and students on all aspects of research data management
  • We operate the University's Research Data Archive
  • We maintain the University's guidance pages on research data management
  • We maintain the University's research data policy, strategic plan and operational plan

Dr Catherine Pink has expertise in reviewing data management plans, funder policies and data management training.

Research Data Librarian (Systems)

Alex Ball has expertise in metadata for research data, the scholarly communication of research data and discipline-specific data management issues, and develops the University's data archive.

Research Data Librarian 

Dr Alison Nightingale has expertise in research and developing and reviewing data management plans for complex collaborative research projects.
