@Home with Lesley Wye - a talk about how to increase your influence on health care policy and practice

Date: Thursday 1 March 2018
Time: 3.05pm - 4.05pm
Venue: 1NW 2.4 , University of Bath, Bath BA2 7AY

This talk presents Lesley Wye’s findings from her three year National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Knowledge Mobilisation Research fellowship. During this time, Lesley led a Knowledge Mobilisation Team whose aim was to develop collaborative commissioner -researcher projects to bridge the research-practice gap. The team consisted of local healthcare commissioners who were embedded into academic primary care research centre and researchers-in-residence embedded into NHS clinical commissioning groups. Lesley’s talk will provide an opportunity to discuss how researchers can increase their influence on health care policy and practice.
