Revised Code of Good Practice in Research Integrity

The updated Good Practice Code for Research Integrity, approved by Senate in early December, is now available on the Research Integrity and Ethics web pages.

All research staff and postgraduate researchers are strongly encouraged to familiarise themselves with the revised code.

The review of the Code was undertaken, in part, to ensure the University’s compliance with The concordat to support research integrity and in line with the introduction of the University’s Open Access Mandate and the University’s Research Data Policy.

Professor Jane Millar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research, who led the review of the document commented, “The Code is there for all researchers to follow, so that, as an individual, and as an institution, we can illustrate that we endeavour to conduct research with integrity, honesty, rigour, transparency and diligence.”
