There are many good language learning resources on the internet, many of which you can use for free:

General Resources for students of all languages

The University of Bath subscribes to the Oxford Dictionary bilingual dictionaries and you may also find English language dictionaries useful.

You may find it useful to know about other people's language learning experiences and advice.

I love languages has the largest collection of links to resources in every language you can think of and even more resources can be found at Subject Centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies and CILT - the National Centre for Languages

Language Learning Sites

Memrise offers you a systematic way of organising your learning in several languages.

Many websites offer basic introductions in a range of languages. Sometimes you can begin to learn a language, but then pay to upgrade. Here are some materials for beginners in over 20 languages. Other websites offer help with writing in languages from Ainu, Albanian,.. through to ... Ukranian, Vietnamese and Welsh. You can also find short video lessons in many languages and an online multimodal corpus of European teen language with video interviews.
