Graduate School Studentships
Three-year Graduate School studentships are available for 2013 start. These are offered to excellent PhD applicants, and comprise full home/EU tuition fees and training support grant, plus a stipend of £13,726 per annum (2013/14 rate). Application Deadline: Wednesday 20th March 2013.

50th Anniversary Excellence Studentships for Overseas Research Students
University research studentships are available for a 2013 start, and comprise three years of full overseas tuition fee, a training support fee of £1,000 per annum and an annual stipend of £13,726 (2013/14 rate). Applicants who wish to be considered for these studenships should apply online as soon as possible. The deadline for this call is Tuesday 18 December 2012. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

BBRSC (Biotechnology & Biological Sciences Research Council) Studentships
Following the award of £4.2 million for a multi-institutional Doctoral Training Partnership to Bath and its partner institutions, applications are invited for 4 year interdisciplinary studentships in areas of World Class Bioscience and Food Security, including Mathematical Biology. Please see the South West Doctoral Training Partnership information, for details of individual PhD projects. The deadline for this call is Friday 11th January 2013. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

EPSRC (Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council) Studentships
These will be available in relevant Science departments in 2013. Funding lasts for three or three and a half years and is announced in the Spring. Home students will receive full home tuition fee, an annual stipend of £13,726 (2013/14 rate) and a training support grant of £1,000 per annum. Students from EU countries other than the UK are generally eligible for a fees-only award.
Fee Waiver Scholarships for All Excellent Applicants
A number of scholarships are available to cover full or partial fees for home/EU and overseas applicants. Funding lasts for three years and provides up to 100 per cent of the Home/EU or overseas tuition fee as well as an annual training grant. No stipend is provided.
Applications for funding must be fully complete and must include a statement of support highlighting their eligibility (previous academic achievements, research experience, and so on.)
If you wish to apply for a Fee Waiver Scholarship, please ensure that you clearly state this in your online application form (section 3).
