Induction
Welcome to the University of Bath. When you arrive, you should introduce yourself to your Department Office staff, arrange a meeting with your supervisor or personal tutor, and call in to see us at the Science Graduate School WH3.33.
Your Department will provide you with a Welcome Pack and handbook, and the Graduate School Team can help you with any information you need to settle in.

Registration and document review
You will find lots of advice on our getting started pages. There is also a useful document review checklist for you to follow before arriving.
You will receive an email inviting you to complete registration online. For more information about this process, please visit Registration On-Line (ROL).
When you arrive at the University, you will need to show originals of any documents as listed on your Applicant Tracker in order to fully enrol on your course. Home and EU students should bring these documents to the Graduate School in WH3.33 between 10am-4pm during Induction week. Overseas students should take their documents to Level 3 in the Library, between 10am-1pm.

International Students can receive further advice and support from the International Office, located in Wessex House 2.15, or via Student Services in 4 West.

Where is the Science Graduate School?
We are located in Wessex House, level 3, room 3.33. If you take the stairs up to level 3 next to the Fresh shop, we are on the corridor straight in front of you.
Where do I collect my maintenance payment from?
For those with a stipend, your first maintenance payment will be available in the form of a cheque which you can collect from the Studentships Office (Wessex House 3.44).
My registration login details don’t work – who do I tell?
Whilst we would like you to complete registration on-line before you arrive, don't worry if you are unable to. Once you arrive at the University, please try to complete registration as soon as possible.
Help is available from Student Services in 4 West, or alternatively you can contact registration support.
Which documents do I need to show at Document Review?
The documents that you will be asked to show at Document Review are listed on your Applicant Tracker. You should bring these documents to the Graduate School.
I have questions relating to finance – who do I speak to?
You can visit the Student Finance Office for general queries.
