Visitor parking

Pay & Display

The University operates Pay & Display parking for visitors in A and G Car Parks, as well as part of East Car Park.

Please refer to the Google Map for a car park plan with locations of Pay & Display machines. The map shows car park layouts, not exact locations of marked bays.

Costs

Please see the Pay & Display charges page for details. On Open Days parking fees may be waived. This will be communicated to visitors or shown by covered ticket machines.

Departmental visitors

Departments who invite visitors to campus on University business, may request a template visitor permit at reduced Pay and Display rates. Please request this from the Parking Office by telephone (ext. 6562) or by email. You can retain the template for future visitors. Please sent permits in advance with clear instructions on where to park and requesting the permit be displayed on the dashboard.

Departmental visitors may use the visitor bays in East and West Car Parks if space is available or, if not, they may park in any marked parking space on campus (except reserved spaces or blue badge bays).

Accessible parking and help points

The access map highlights all accessible parking bays on campus. Drivers displaying a Blue Badge may park in these free of charge.

There are four yellow intercom help points available; two in East Car Park and two in West Car Park.

Regulations, Conditions and Sanctions

Please see the car parking regulations, conditions and sanctions page for more information about parking on campus.
