June 2006: Academic Success for Tennis Team Members

The Tennis Programme will be sad to lose several players this year - Emily Quin, Stephanie Dauncey, Judith Bunn, George Wilkinson, Nick Harston, Liam Storey and Miles Raybould - who have now all graduated this summer.

They have played a major part in the success of the University's Tennis Programme in recent years, all being involved with Men's and Women's BUSA Championship winning teams, BUSA Individual Championship successes (more...)

May 2006: Alex Miotto improves ATP ranking with wins in Kuwait

Alex Miotto qualified both weeks and then won a round in the main draw of each event to push his ATP ranking higher after two consecutive Futures tournaments in Kuwait. After a fairly comfortable passage through qualifying in week 1, Alex beat fellow Brit, Dan Cottier 6-3 6-2 in round 1 of the main draw, before losing to top seed Mohammed Al Ghareeb of Kuwait, 6-4 6-1 (more...)
