Dr John Troyer contributes to Science & Society Collaboration project
6 March 2012
In early November 2011, the Campaign for Social Science and the Academy of Social Sciences hosted an event at the University of Bath. The event, entitled the ‘Campaign for Social Science Roadshow’, presented ideas on how to raise the Social Sciences' visibility across the UK.
During the question and answer session with the organisers, Dr John Troyer enquired about collaborative projects between the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) and the Social Sciences. Prof Michael Harloe (Co-Chair of the event with the University of Bath Vice-Chancellor) subsequently requested that Dr Troyer draft a document which listed a series of potential Science and Society collaborative projects.
