New Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Triple Line Consulting

Mon Feb 11 10:47:00 GMT 2013

Professor James Copestake and Dr Joe Devine, in collaboration with Triple Line Consulting, have been awarded funding from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the UK Technology Board for a two-year partnership.

This funding aims to help Triple Line secure and strengthen its business niche as a specialist manager of challenge funds contracted to it by development agencies. Challenge funds are used in the aid sector as a mechanism for disbursement of aid to smaller organisations to promote innovative activities.

The project will enable the recruitment of an Information Management Analyst by the University of Bath who will be based in TripleLine and will work between the two partners to develop innovative systems and mechanisms for monitoring, evaluating and reporting to stakeholders on the impact of the funds it manages. This is intended to promote more efficient, effective and transparent use of challenge funds so improving aid effectiveness.

The Job Advert for an Information Management Analyst is available online.

Further information about the project is available on the Centre for Development Studies website.
