Before joining the University of Bath, I have worked at the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) where I conducted impact evaluation on a wide range of projects related to labour market research. This experience has provided me with a deeper understanding on the effect of social policies on disadvantaged socio-economic groups.

Prior to that, I completed her PhD at the University of Southampton. My thesis explored how workplace training is associated with wages and how this association varies by type of qualification attained and by gender in Germany and England.

My work at the University of Bath will be on the NEWFAMSTRAT project funded by the European Research Council (ERC). The project aims at providing the most comprehensive picture to date of how gender differences in employment, earnings and domestic divisions are constructed at the individual, couple and employer levels in Finland, Germany and the UK.
