Get to know the Dragons:

Dr. Richard Palmer graduated from the University with a BSc in Applied Biology in 1973. After a long career in Research & Development in the pharmaceutical industry, and ten years as CEO and R&D Director of a listed biotechnology company, he launched biopolymer company Warwick Effect Polymers Limited.

Hubert Velge studied his MSc in Business Administration at the University, graduating in 1984. He has a wealth of experience in the financial sector, having worked as an investment banker for Merrill Lynch before going on to set up his own venture capital firm, Quartz Capital Partners. Hubert is currently MD of investment specialists Brook Partners.

The dragons will be in their den all day from 11am on Thursday 25th April.

How to enter:

You'll need to be a member of BANTER Bath Entrepreneurs to pitch to the dragon. It's free to join so sign up at www.bathstudent.com/banter

Make a 1 minute video of your pitch, upload it to a video hosting website e.g. Shutterfly, Youtube, Vimeo.

The Enterprise team will review the videos and invite some of you to make a 5 minute pitch to the dragon.

All entrants will be invited to have lunch and discuss their idea with the Dragons on Thursday 25th April.

*The money will be in the form of a grant, not a loan. You are not expected to pay it back but you will have to state clearly how much you want and what you will be using it for. You should tell us how you are going to measure the impact of the grant.
