Your learning resources

Together the University and the Students' Union have:

  • committed funds to develop a General Teaching Accommodation Building with a 350-seat lecture theatre and a range of group work rooms

  • made laboratory coats and eye protection free to you from 2012 onwards

  • created an innovative group learning space in 8 West 1.28 together with three new study rooms, available to you, in the Library supported by the Alumni Fund

  • introduced a new Resource Discovery System, Primo, in the Library to help students find relevant, accurate and current information about the subjects they are studying

  • refurbished the user service desk in the Library to provide better quality support for you

  • introduced the 'YouGuru' forum to provide support to enable you to access university IT services via your own devices
