Together the University and the Students' Union have:

agreed a minimum rate for jobs for you on campus through increasing the lowest rate of wages to £6.19 per hour

continued to lobby the bus companies to increase bus provision at peak times and have now secured a bus service direct from Oldfield Park

appointed a community intern to support and develop the student community and sense of belonging

introduced new guides to the university for all first year students as part of a wider project to enhance your first year at university

increased participation in the Student Shadowing project to give you and staff more opportunities to learn about each other's daily lives
