The John Barr Scholarships
Mechanical Engineering and Electronic and Electrical Engineering
Funded by the Schlumberger Stonehouse Technology Centre, these two scholarships are designed to recognise and motivate female students studying specified subjects who are part way through their MEng degree.
Applicants must be:
- female
- full-time students
- UK citizens
- enrolled for a MEng degree in either Mechanical or Electronic & Electrical Engineering (including the IMEE option)
- entering the penultimate year of their degree programme in the next academic year.
The scholarships each have a total value of £1,000 with £500 paid in the penultimate year of your degree and (subject to satisfactory academic performance) a further £500 paid in the final year of your degree. Selection is primarily based on academic merit.
