Student Barometer Survey
Have your say!
The Student Barometer Survey is your opportunity to give your opinions on what you liked about your time at the University of Bath, as well as things you felt could have been improved to make us Better@Bath.
How to take part
All eligible students receive an email in mid- to late October with an invitation to complete the survey online. The survey finishes in early December.
The survey is straightforward and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. You are asked a range of questions about:
- visa issues (for international students only)
- application and arrival
- learning and teaching
- living in Bath (and the surrounding areas)
- support services
- Students’ Union
- any positive and/or negative comment you have about your experience.
You and your answers stay anonymous during the survey process and your contact details won’t be used for any other purpose.
What happens to your feedback
Each year, our academic departments and school work closely with student representatives from their Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) to develop an action plan to improve the student experience at our institution. These action plans, to make us Better@Bath, are based on
the results from students' comments in surveys such as the Student Barometer.
If you don’t take part in the survey
The Student Barometer Survey, the University and your Students’ Union want to collect the views of as many students as possible. If you don't respond to the invitation to take part then further reminder messages may be sent by the University, your Director of Studies and/or the Students’ Union.
